The volume Religie en lokaal bestuur is an initiative of the Social Advisory Board of the Faculty of Philosophy, Theology and Religious Studies and the Master of Religion and Policy. For while the relationship between religion and politics in the national sphere gets a lot attention, the role of religion at the local level is often overlooked. The volume's fifteen essays feature teachers from the faculty's programme, but also include authors from civil society and public administration and cover different aspects of the relationship between politics and religion.
