Under what circumstances should the University discontinue, not enter into, or make adjustments to an international partnership? On 1 April, the International Partnerships Advisory Committee will submit its preliminary recommendation on this matter to the Executive Board. This preliminary recommendation consists of a framework for assessing partnerships and its application to two of the University's partnerships.
Within one working day of receipt, the Executive Board will publish the recommendation via ru.nl. In the subsequent two to three weeks, the Executive Board will discuss the recommendation with, among others, the Council of Deans, the University Joint Assembly and the Supervisory Board. The Executive Board will also discuss the recommendation with students and staff. The date and location of this meeting will be announced on the website at a later time, following which staff and students will be invited to register for the meeting.
Subject of discussion
It is to be expected that the recommendation will also be discussed within the faculties and in other places within the University. Staff and students are invited to share the outcomes of those discussions with the Executive Board via a form.
Decision
Once these various discussions have taken place, the Executive Board will formulate a proposed decision as soon as possible, and elaborate on it during another meeting. The proposed decision will also be published on ru.nl.
In view of this exceptional subject, the Executive Board will, at the request of the UGV, ask for UGV's advice.
