The RCSC wants to use these grants to support sustainable initiatives on campus. For example, these initiatives could include lectures, networking events, a podcast series, or workshops.
Conditions for participation
- The applicant must be an existing sustainability group on campus.
- The proposed project should extend beyond the group's regular activities.
- The project must align with the RCSC's mission and goals to translate sustainability rhetoric to action in education, research or operations.
- The project should involve inter- and/or transdisciplinary approaches, and should consider engaging with the challenge questions posed in .
- There must be clear pathways for student involvement, and/or other academic sub-populations. Submissions from student groups are encouraged.
Submitting a proposal
Interested parties should explain their project plan on a maximum of two pages and attach a maximum of one page with their planning and budget.
Proposals can be submitted until 17 April by emailing rcsc [at] ru.nl (rcsc[at]ru[dot]nl)
Participants will be notified on 15 May whether they have received a grant.

- Clear statement of the project's objectives and significance.

- Justification of expenses.
- Budget breakdown.
3. Timeline
- Project timeline with key milestones.

- Engagement with the challenge questions posed in the Manifesto or the goals of the RCSC.
- Potential for further development or scalability.
