Participational bodies Nijmegen School of Management

The faculty board is responsible for the administration and management of the faculty to ensure the quality of education and research. The board is supported in decision-making by various committees and participation bodies.

Faculty Joint Assembly

The Faculty Joint Assembly (FJA) forms co-determination within the faculty. In the FJA, members of the Faculty Representative Council (FRC) and members of the Faculty Student Council (FSR) meet with the Faculty Board. The FRC is the co-determination body for the staff of Nijmegen School of Management and, as such, part of the University Works Council. The FSR represents students' interests; the voice of staff and students is therefore heard in the FJA.

Faculty Student Council

The Faculty Student Council (FSR) promotes the interests of students within the faculty. The FSR deals with issues such as quality of teaching, faculty finances and student welfare. Together with the Programme Committee and the Student Assessor, the FSR is responsible for student representation. The FSR consists of:

FSR 2024-2025

  • Vincent Plompen (chairman)
  • Benthe Booiman (vice-chairman)
  • Querine Becks (secretary)
  • Hannah Pols (treasurer)
  • Bart Krans
  • Anne van de Zanden

If you are interested in participation, apply for the FSR. You can find more information here.

Student assessor

The student assessor is part of the faculty board and ensures that in meetings the student perspective is included in decision-making. The assessor also maintains close contact with the FSR and OLC and liaises at central level with assessors from other faculties.
