The Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Department (AMD) supports staff at uu77 and Radboudumc in the areas of health, vitality, safety and sustainability, as well as some other organisations in healthcare, research and education.
The AMD is a certified occupational health and safety service for ‘Carrying out research, advice and evaluation in the field of occupational safety, occupational hygiene, work organisation and occupational health care as well as performing operational and policy-related tasks in relation to occupational health care, working conditions, safety, environment, bio-risk and radiation’ and thus complies with the following certifications: ISO 9001:2015 and DNV Management System certificate.

Organisation of the Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Department (AMD)
The Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Service is divided into various disciplines, each offering a service based on the expertise of the various officers. The various disciplines work closely together. As an employee, you can make use of various services of the AMD, such as a occupational social worker, occupational health physician and a occupational health support worker.
In addition, the BioRisk Prevention, Environment and Radiation Protection Unit are also included under the wing of the AMD. These services work closely with specialists nationwide as well as within the AMD.
Customer contact teams
