Internships

Doing an internship is a great way to learn about your education in practice. You narrow the gap between studying and working and it makes you an attractive option for future employers. In addition, you expand your network and gain (more) insight into your own abilities and interests.

Internship as a (compulsory) part of your studies

The internship is part of your study when you complete it as part of a course (component) or minor or free space, and it therefore falls within the set number of ECTS of your study programme (generally 180 ECTS for a Bachelor and 60 ECTS for a Master). For a compulsory internship, you will find all the information in the course guide and course environment of the relevant course. In the minor area of the bachelor, you can also opt for an internship and/or a stay abroad. Doing an internship is encouraged by the faculty if it fits into your study schedule.

If you are studying at the Faculty of Philosophy, Theology and Religious Studies, you can contact the internship coordinators below for all information on internships, both internship contracts and a suitable offer for all programmes within the faculty.
