Calorta Tan is an external Ph.D. candidate at the Behavioural Science Institute at uu77. Her research focuses on eating behavior, well-being, and the influence of contextual factors, with a particular emphasis on intervention strategies that promote positive change.

Currently, she is collaborating with Prof. Dr. J.M. Vink (Jacqueline), Dr. J.K. Larsen (Junilla), and Dr. S. Thijssen (Sandra) on the project "Unhealthy Eating Among University Students: Downregulating Automatic Processes." This study explores how physical activity, cognitive bias modification, and mindfulness can help young people develop healthier eating habits.

A project that is currently recruiting participants:
We are currently recruiting participants for an 8-week mindfulness-based intervention designed to explore how mindfulness can help regulate stress-eating, binge eating, and other unhealthy eating behaviors. This study is open to individuals between 18 and 30 years old who are interested in learning how mindfulness can positively impact their eating habits and overall well-being. If you are interested in participating or would like to learn more, feel free to contact Calorta (Yazhi) Tan or visit the following link for additional details.
