Ronald Tinnevelt conducts research on the resilience of the democratic rule of law, political parties and the idea of global justice. Currently he is preparing with L. Corrias (VU) a volume entitled 'European Ways of Life' (Edgar Elgar 2024). Recently he edited a special issue on the legitimacy of institutions for conflict resolution (Utrecht Law Review 2023 - 19/2), with R. Schlössels and J. Sillen the book 'Naar een weerbare rechtsstaat' (Kluwer, 2022) and with Frank van den Heuvel the volume 'Polarisatie en perspectief' (Eburon, 2022).
