Project type
Organisational / HR

The Student Guidance 2023 programme has been set up to achieve a high level of more proactive and preventative guidance, in which students and staff members know what they can expect of one another.

uu77 aims to educate our students to become conscientious, committed, critical and self-aware academics who take up positions of responsibility in society. That ambition assumes that our university is a safe, stimulating environment that contributes to the continued personal development of students in more than just their education. In order to achieve this, it is necessary to offer high-quality proactive and preventative guidance that is available to all students. Every student is unique and valuable, and in addition to their academic success, individual growth and personal development are essential.

Motivation

The motivation for this programme is the advisory report ‘Student Guidance 2023: Clear Quality and Connectedness’. On the basis of input from over 100 students and staff members, the report recommended strongly committing to an increase in the capacity and quality of student guidance, as the current scenario is not equipped for the future and does not offer a clear package of guidance with corresponding frameworks.
