What are you going to learn?
uu77's Post Master's in Psychotherapy trains pychotherapists, where psychotherapeutic practice is central. At the same time, upon completion of this programme, you will feel skilled and confident in all nationally defined seven areas of competence. Developing an integrative model with regard to diagnosis and treatment of attachment, trauma and personality pathology will be the common thread in your psychotherapeutic acting. However, psychotherapeutic practice is always embedded in social relationships. The programme challenges you to look beyond the client in his or her treatment room and, as a future psychotherapist, to contribute to an inclusive society. In doing so, you will contribute to anchoring psychotherapy in society.
Upon completion of this course:
- You can profile yourself as a BIG-registered psychotherapist who takes a critical and thorough approach;
- You are expert in psychotherapeutic treatment of more complex problems, which are more rooted in the client's personality;
- You can apply clinical methods and attitudes competently and purposefully;
- You feel confident in directing treatment and thereby also promoting the expertise of co-involved persons;
- As a director and expert, you are directional within the treatment team;
- You are part of a network of driven psychotherapists who continuously strive to optimise (scientific) knowledge and expertise in the psychotherapeutic field. Also after graduation.
