Evaluation InWork Berchmanianum and Elinor Ostrom building
Over the past three years, the project InWork, the Berchmanianum workplace concept, has taken shape. Subsequently, a similar project was started in the working environment of the Campus & Facilities division. Based on a campus-wide vision of the working environment, this involved changing the layout of the Berchmanianum and the third floor in the Elinor Ostrom Building (EOS). The new working environment was commissioned on 1 January 2024. Based on the feedback collected through a monthly evaluation, adjustments were made and the working environment was shaped and developed step by step. The InWork project group has now transferred its work to the line organisation: the colleagues at Campus & Facilities in cooperation with the Management Support Office of Radboud Services. In the last quarter of this year, a risk analysis and evaluation will be carried out in the building and with colleagues working there. In this way, insights will continue to be collected about working pleasantly and effectively and which facilities are appropriate for this.
New facilities manager Berchmanianum
At Berchmanianum, you can meet a new face when it comes to the working environment: Jet Maasbach has handed over her position as facilities manager to Femke van Groningen with effect from 1 October 2024. Jet will take her knowledge and experience with her to Radboud Sustainable Working, in the position of Manager Workplace Concepts.
New Sustainable Workplace Concept project launched at ILS
Finally, a new Sustainable Workplace Concept project has started at the Information & Library Services (ILS) division. In accordance with the wishes of the end users and within the possibilities of the clients, a widely supported work(place) concept is being developed in the Elinor Ostrom Building (EOS) and in the University Library (UB). The aim is to create a recognisable home base for the departments and teams, with cooperation and connection between employees and with partners on campus. With the overarching aim of achieving sustainable and healthy working. The coming months will be devoted to collecting needs from employees and making various analyses, which will be used to further flesh out the project in the first quarter of 2025.
