If you have to work overtime and you are subsequently not able to eat at home between the hours of 5.00 pm and 8.00 pm, you are entitled to a meal allowance. You are always entitled to a meal allowance during overtime, even if you are not entitled to an overtime allowance. You can submit a claim for your meal expenses via BASS. Your claim will need to include a copy of your receipt. The maximum meal allowance is €20,00.
