The terms of employment of uu77 are laid down in the Collective Labour Agreement of Dutch Universities. In addition to and as an elaboration of the CLA, uu77 has also established a number of local regulations.
All PhD candidates in the Netherlands are given an employee contract. They receive a salary and are entitled to the same employment terms as other university staff members.
