Payment app KUARIO

Students need print balance to be able to print, copy and scan. KUARIO is the payment app for the printers at uu77 and is linked to the printing environment.

Install KUARIO

  1. Install the KUARIO app or go to . (Please note: you can only access this page if you’re connected to the ‘Eduroam’ wifi network or VPN).
  2. Activate a KUARIO account with your ru.nl email address and log in details you have received via email. If you have not received or saved the email, then select “Forgot password” in the KUARIO app.
  3. Activate your account and connect it to the Radboud printserver by clicking on the envelop with a “1” in the upper right corner and follow the instructions.
  4. Top up your account balance.

Printing and copying costs are shown below. Scanning on the multifunctionals is free.

Creating a group budget

If you want to print with multiple users, you can create a group budget in KUARIO. Follow these steps:

  1. Click Settings
  2. Click on Wallets
  3. Click on +ADD
  4. Click on Create wallet
  5. Give the wallet a recognisable name and click Submit.
  6. Then you will see the new 'wallet' in the list. If you click it, you can add users.

As a department, you can also request a group budget so that working students can print. Mail to: postprint-cf [at] ru.nl to request a group budget.

Students who start working as employees after their studies may have difficulties with printing. For this group, Campus & Facilities has created the 'wallet PhD students'. A 'wallet' will also be created for other employees.

Transferring print credit

Would you like to transfer your print credit from your old RU e-mail address or your private e-mail address to your current RU e-mail address? Then follow these steps:

  1. Activate your KUARIO account.
  2. Log in to your old KUARIO account and click on 'Transfer'.
  3. Enter the amount you want to transfer to your new KUARIO account.
  4. Enter your @ru.nl email address and click on 'Confirm'.
  5. Your credit is now on the new KUARIO account.

Reimbursement of balance

You can check your balance in the KUARIO app or through the website. Any balance remaining after graduation can be refunded. This can be easily requested through the KUARIO app or website. The balance will then be automatically refunded to the same account the balance was charged to. Requesting a refund can be done through the following steps:

  1. Log in to the Kuario app or website
  2. Go to settings
  3. Click on account
  4. Click on refund
  5. Agree to the Kuario refund policy
  6. Request a refund
