Mandatory attendance for different teaching methods may differ from one study programme to another. You can find the relevant information about this in the Education and Examination Regulations (EER) for your study programme or faculty. Insufficient attendance of course classes may, in extreme cases, result in you being excluded from further participation in the course.
Attendance outside of your studies
Outside of your studies, you have the freedom to decide how you will spend the rest of your time. You are not required to stay on campus prior to or after classes. If you would like to spend some time on campus, you might like take a look at the following campus facilities: food and drinks, sports, study workplaces, printing services on campus and the University Chaplaincy.
