Alumni Career Insights: find out where Radboud alumni end up

As a Radboud lecturer or staff member, do you want to know what kind of work our master's graduates end up doing? The new Alumni Career Insights dashboard, based on data from the National Alumni Survey, offers valuable insights you can use in your education, study information, and career guidance.

Data from the National Alumni Survey

Every two years, we ask our recent master's graduates to complete the National Alumni Survey (NAS). For example, we know that of the 2022 graduates, 84 percent are employed at the research university level within 1.5 years of graduation. Moreover, 80 percent indicated that the content of their master's degree matched well to very well with their current job. 

These figures underline the quality and relevance of our master's programmes and the value of a degree from uu77 on the labour market. The answers from the NAS also provide input for the further development of our education and the support of students in their transition to the labour market. The infographic below shows the results from the latest NAS. The next edition of the NAS will be taken at the end of 2025.

New: Alumni Career Insights

To gain even better insight into where our alumni end up after completing their studies at uu77, the Alumni Career Insights dashboard is now available. The dashboard offers students and staff insight into where our alumni end up immediately after completing their master's degree. Data in the dashboard can be viewed by faculty, study programme and field of work, among others. As such, it contains valuable information for, for instance, our study information, educational development and career guidance.

Feedback or more information?

The dashboard was developed by colleagues from Institutional Research in collaboration with Career Service and Alumni Office and includes data from the National Alumni Surveys of recent years. The Radboud Alumni Office maintains contact with graduates of uu77. We have up-to-date data on where alumni are and can make targeted contact. Alumni like to contribute to our education, for example as guest lecturers and mentors, or share their experiences at activities by Career Service and study associations. Together, we strengthen the connection between the university and society and education and practice.
