What will you learn?
This course focuses on developing and applying knowledge about the four core elements of creativity - called the RISE Framework - in the context of teaching gifted students. You will learn about the impact of these elements on creativity in the classroom and develop the ability to recognise, assess and develop each of these elements in your students. This course will provide you with a foundation to support teaching for and with creativity.
This course is part of the RITHA Practitioner program, which means you will be working alongside other participants in the program. For this course, we expect you to have basic academic writing skills.
Upon completion of this course:
- You will be able to describe the elements of the RISE Framework on creative teaching;
- You will be able to explain the role and characteristics of elements of the RISE Framework in the development of creativity of individual students;
- Be able to apply knowledge of the RISE Framework to the assessment and development of creativity of individual students;
- Receive a certificate of attendance.
