Erasmus+ and uu77

For decades, uu77 has invested in building relationships with universities around the world. Erasmus+ is invaluable in this regard. Every year, hundreds of staff and students take advantage of the funding to go abroad or to visit uu77. But mobility is just one of the many benefits of Erasmus+.

Individual mobility

Each year, uu77 applies for Erasmus+ grants, funded by the European Union, in order to provide students and staff with a grant. This grant allows students to study abroad or complete an internship abroad. For staff, the grant can support activities such as conducting research, teaching at other institutions, or participating in training courses. While the Erasmus+ programme primarily focuses on exchanges within the European Union, it also facilitates exchanges with non-European countries.

Other Erasmus+ projects

uu77 collaborates with several other European universities in the European Universities Initiative NeurotechEU. This alliance addresses pressing challenges in neuroscience, combining AI and medicine to tackle neurological disorders. Operating as a virtual platform, NeurotechEU facilitates communication and collaboration, enhancing European education through interdisciplinary research.

In the  initiative, co-funded by Erasmus+, universities around the world (including uu77) are working with local partners to reduce power inequality.
